Aquasplash Antibes, THE family waterpark on the Côte d'Azur, opened its doors in 1985. Every summer since then, its 2,500-metre waterslide area covering 20,000 square metres has made it one of the Côte d'Azur's leading leisure destinations.
The region's reference water park, Aquasplash has undergone significant changes throughout its history: the creation of Pirate Island in 2008, Turbolance and Space Boat in 2009, Draguero in 2011 and, in the same year, an extension with the Kids Pool children's area... In recent years, the customer experience has been considerably enhanced, with refurbished changing rooms, showers and lockers, as well as a completely refurbished VIP area (barnums and Balinese beds), shaded areas, a new catering area, terminals for electric vehicles, and more.
As a family destination, Aquasplash has always attached the utmost importance to the health and safety of its visitors. This concern is reflected in the rigorous recruitment and training of our staff. All lifeguards are carefully selected and hold recognized qualifications such as the BNSSA (Brevet National de Sécurité et de Sauvetage Aquatique) or the BPJEPS (Brevet Professionnel de la Jeunesse, de l'Éducation Populaire et du Sport) with a specialization in Aquatic and Swimming Activities (AAN). These qualifications guarantee in-depth expertise in the supervision and management of swimming pools and aquatic areas.
What's more, every member of our lifeguard team is trained in team first aid, with a minimum of PSE 1 (First Aid Team Level 1) certification. This training enables them to intervene quickly and effectively in the event of a medical emergency, ensuring the safety and well-being of our visitors at all times.
The waterpark is a major seasonal employer in the Alpes-Maritimes region, employing over 150 seasonal workers. These positions cover a variety of essential roles, from lifeguards to multi-skilled employees responsible for launching attractions, security guards and catering staff. This enables many young people to enter the professional world, offering them a first stepping stone towards employment.
